Studying at University should be more than just getting an education, it should build confidence, life skills and lasting friendships. Living on campus with all the wonderful programs, social events and support only accelerates these opportunities.
On Sunday, March 17 visitors are invited to join us at College between 10am -3pm as we showcase what goes on here at University Hall.
First up, Take a tour to get a chance to win an overnight stay and a-la-carte breakfast for two people at the Wonil Hotel. What sets the Wonil Hotel apart besides it’s stunning location and proximity to UWA is its distinctive operating model. All profits are channelled towards supporting medical and scientific research at the five esteemed universities in the vicinity. This innovative approach not only underscores the hotel's dedication to academic advancement but also underscores its integral role as a catalyst for social impact and philanthropy.
As a bonus the first one hundred to take a tour will also get a FREE Coffee from the Grind and Grow Coffee Van and our specially crafted UniHall cookie made by Sweet Cakes. To keep that community vibe going Grind and Grow not only make great coffee, but their van also provides on-the-job training and employment for people who need a hand up. Every cent of profit from coffee purchases flow back in to the training program, providing barista training to people experiencing the impacts of homelessness and isolation. Our Student Music Committee (SMC) will also be on hand playing tunes while you enjoy a coffee.
Then, Eat like a UniHaller! Grab a brunch voucher from us at the Campus Life marquee, just $12 and you can experience the kind of feast our residents enjoy every day.
Join our Art’s Committee and get crafty making yourself a friendship bracelet in our Art Room.
Take some time to play some lawn games on the quad or have a hit of Volleyball with our ResClub and current residents.
