Student Car Share

The Student Car Share Program is a partnership between UWA and Student Car Share where residents can sign up, become a member and hire affordable cars.

Two bays are located at UniHall and are ready for students to hire out for an hour, the day, a weekend or just as long as you need. Many residents have hired the cars for road trips during semester breaks and have explored regional Western Australia. Some favourite spots include: Margaret River, Dunsborough beaches, camping in Yanchep and simply driving along our beautiful coast line.

To find out more about hiring a car visit the Student Car Share website.

Public Transport

There are a number of buses which arrive at our front doorstep with frequent services to the city, Fremantle, shopping areas, popular cafes and restaurants, Perth beaches and anywhere you need to go.  It's only a five minute bus ride into the city and from there you can catch other bus lines, the train or ferry.

All UniHallers (UWA students) receive a discounted rate to travel on public transport by purchasing and using a Transperth SmartRider. This can be purchased on campus in the Guild Village and from local news agencies.

To plan your journey from UniHall you can use the Transperth Website.

Your new home

University Hall is home to over 750 residents who live amongst five different houses. You'll find out which house you're in once your offer has been confirmed. In the meantime take a look at our virtual room tours.
