As The University of Western Australia’s (UWA) college, University Hall (UniHall) prioritizes UWA students by providing an excellent and safe academic and community environment. UniHall have been awarded a Gold, Medium Workplace Badge by Mental Health First Aid Australia.
This is for the Hall’s efforts in ensuring there are a number of staff qualified in Mental Health First Aid. Being the largest residential college in WA with over 750 students, the Hall trains a significant number of staff to support students academically, socially, culturally and for health and well being.
The Residential Life team consists of the coordinators as well as 29 Residential Advisors (student leaders) who provide one on one support for residents as well as coordinating a range of programs for residents to excel in their studies and grow as individuals. This month alone features, Stressbuster activities for residents to take a break during studying for exams and finishing assignments to have a laugh with friends over pizza and Tim Tams.
