UniHall hosted a pyjama themed movie night to promote student health and wellbeing
On Tuesday 12 March, almost 150 UniHall residents dressed down into their favourite Pyjamas for the Community Connections Health and Wellbeing Team’s Pyjama Day Outdoor Movie Night.
The event continued the fun of the UWA Student Guild’s PJ Day, which aims to celebrate the importance of sleep for overall student health and wellbeing.
Pyjama Day Outdoor Movie Night began with an information session about sleep hygiene from our Residential Advisors Amalie and Travis, and followed with prizes for the ‘best PJ dressed’ people. The event finished with watching Spider Man under the stars in the Upper Quad with special guest, Emmy the Dog.
The Health and Wellbeing team focuses on providing events and opportunities for students to improve and maintain their physical and mental health and wellbeing. This team works as part of UniHall’s Community Connections portfolio that aims to ensure engage students in all aspects of community, from feeling healthy safe and supported, to sharing passions and interests, and advocating for causes close to their heart.
