Standard Room

Living in a Standard Room means you are welcomed by a ready-made support network and friends. Your Standard Room is secure, individual and fully-furnished with shared bathroom facilities. Shared facilities means a greater opportunity to interact with your peers. These rooms are recommended for first year undergraduate students.

Standard Premium Room

Standard Premium Rooms are slightly wider than a Standard Room and have shared bathroom and kitchen facilities amongst smaller ‘sets’ of five, three or two rooms.

Standard Premium Rooms are highly recommended for exchange students as they offer the flexibility of either a one semester or full year lease.

Studios are recommended for undergraduate students who enjoy a more independent style of living. The rooms include your own private bathroom and kitchen.

The Studios were built under the National Rental Affordability Scheme which requires University Hall to prioritise accommodation for students aged between 18-30 years and are:

  1. Students with low socio-economic status
  2. Indigenous Australian students and/or
  3. Students that are located in rural and isolated areas of Western Australia relocating to Perth and/or
  4. Students with disabilities and within the context of overcoming educational disadvantage associated with gender and/or
  5. Women enrolled in non-traditional disciplines such as IT, engineering, architecture and postgraduate study.

Residents accepted into a Studio Room are required to bring their own bedding, linen and cooking utensils. Kitchen and Linen packs are available for purchase online through the portal or at UStore.

Enjoy the extra space in a One Bedroom Apartment. These apartments have been specifically designed with postgraduate and mature age students in mind and are recommended for Graduate Certificate/Diploma, Masters and Postgraduate students.
