UWA’s Western Waagyls have once again won the National Indigenous Tertiary Education Student Games.

This year the Games were held at the University of Western Sydney in Penrith, NSW. University Hall is proud to recognise the following residents who were selected to be part of the team; Zana Bodey, Emile Boxer, Marlia Fatnowna and Casey Kickett.

The team won 22 of the 24 games and competed in all four grand finals, winning the basketball and netball and runners up for touch and soccer. This is the 6th time UWA has won against Indigenous students from 25 other universities.

A final mention must also go to our residents who represented UWA at the Australian Uni Games on the Gold Coast. Congratulations to Tim Davies, Kyle Atkins, Erin Dikstaal, Arthur Pitt, Emile Boxer and Grace Dimmick.
