The University Hall Academic team , staff members and community couldn’t be more proud of our resident’s academic achievements this semester. To recognise the hard work of resident’s studying and staying up late to finish those assignments, the Hall held an Academic Evening Celebration.

The Dining Hall filled with over 90 guests attending the evening right from our VIP UWA academics, Lead Residential Advisors through to our guest speakers and of course high achieving students.

“The resounding success of the Academic Celebration this semester lies with the enthusiasm of our high-achieving residents. This semester, our high-achievers particularly welcomed the opportunity to meet and greet so many senior UWA academics over a relaxed drink and to see the wide open space of the Dining Hall transformed to celebrate their hard work,” says Armin Scheben, UniHall Lead Academic Mentor.

This semester saw 79 UniHall residents achieve a High Distinction or Distinction overall in their studies. Residents were at various stages of their degrees and included first and second year undergraduates plus postgraduates and PhD students. It is fantastic to see residents excelling in their UWA studies whilst also being so involved in the UniHall community.
