University Hall residents may be eligible for a number of University Hall supported scholarships and bursaries.


Ralph Pervan Scholarship

Created to honour the memory of the late Ralph Pervan, a much loved member of the Hall who worked to promote social unity.  The scholarship guarantees a place at the Hall and provides $5000 towards the residents’ annual fees. Year 12 students who are studying at a Western Australian high school are eligible to apply. Applications are now closed.


University of Western Australia Accommodation Bursary

This bursary provides for payment of half the recipients annual accommodation fees including all meals. Applicants must be current or prospective full-time UWA Australian domestic undergraduate or postgraduate students who meet NRAS eligibility requirements. Applications are now closed.


University Hall Bursary 2014

This scholarship, provided by University Hall, provides successful candidates with a reduced rental rate for a selected NRAS room. Applicants must be returning residents who have resided in the Hall for at least one academic year, attained satisfactory academic results and meet NRAS eligibility requirements.


Domestic Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship provides for the payment of the recipients accommodation fees at University Hall to the value of $15,000 per annum for the duration of 6 semesters for an undergraduate degree or 8 semesters for the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) course. Applicants must be domestic, commencing students who have been accepted to University Hall, have enrolled or are eligible to enrol in an undergraduate course and meet NRAS eligibility requirements. Rio Tinto Undergraduate Residential Scholarship for Indigenous Students

These scholarships are available to support and encourage Indigenous students to undertake an undergraduate degree course at the University. These scholarships cover the cost of accommodation at University Hall or a residential college affiliated with the University and provides a living allowance for the duration of the course. Applicants must be an Indigenous Australian resident, enrolled or eligible to enroll in an undergraduate course at the University and accepted to an affiliated residential college.

This scholarship is administered by the School of Indigenous Studies and will open for applications 18 November 2013.


BHP Billiton Iron Ore Indigenous Scholarships Undergraduate
 

These scholarships are available to support Indigenous students to undertake an undergraduate degree at UWA. The Scholarships provide a living allowance, ancillary allowance and residential accommodation fees at one of the UWA Residential Colleges. Applicants must be an Indigenous Australian resident, enrolled or eligible to enroll in an undergraduate course at the University and accepted to an affiliated residential college.  

This scholarship is administered by the School of Indigenous Studies and will open for applications 18 November 2013.
