Engaging residents to develop their understanding of ‘self’ and ‘enhancement’, along with leadership and life skills, in order to grow into well-rounded and self-aware adults.

This program is an ideal complement to a student’s academic study with opportunities presented to develop leadership, team building and entrepreneurship skills. Some program highlights include:

Pathways to Leadership

Students receive invaluable training in interpersonal and professional skills that are transferable for their future career paths and adult lives.

Mentoring

UniHall mentors volunteer their time to develop their interpersonal skills by assisting new residents with their transition into the Hall and UWA.

Perth USAsia Partnership

A new proud partnership formed in 2015, to provide students with industry connections through co-sponsored events held at both UWA and UniHall.

Student Initiatives

An opportunity for residents to take on the Diversity & Equity Advocates (DEAL) and International Night leadership projects. With the support of the Residential Life team, residents coordinate diverse  events for residents to share personal experiences and to learn from various cultural traditions.
