UniHallers have a flexible meal plan where they enjoy a full buffet style meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner in The Sir George Currie Dining Hall. This is also a place where residents meet and make friends with the dynamic community living at the Hall. Visitors and staff are also welcome.
A full buffet breakfast is offered each morning, where residents select from a range of hot and cold dishes including poached eggs, hash browns, bacon, mushrooms, a selection of breads, spreads, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, juices, drinks and more!
Breakfast hours are:
- Mon- Fri 7:00am to 10:00am
- Sat 8:00am- 10:00am
- Sun 8:00am – 10:00am (continental breakfast)
A selection of hot dishes are provided for lunch, along with a two salad bars – one with pre-made salads and another to make your own sandwich or salad. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available as well as a selection of soft drinks and water. As a treat, every Mon, Wed and Fri students can have a soft serve ice cream.
Lunch hours are:
- Mon- Fri 11:30am to 2:00pm
- Sat 12:00noon- 2:00pm
- Sun 11:00am – 2:00pm (brunch instead of lunch)
UniHall understands the need to provide residents with a flexible lifestyle to accommodate university studies and activities. Therefore the Hall offers resident’s opportunities to upgrade their meal plans.
The meal plan upgrade prices are over and above the rental prices and are calculated as a single transaction amount for the semester or remaining weeks of the semester.

This option is for visitors who would like to enjoy a meal at the Dining Hall and for residents who would like an extra meal but don’t want to upgrade their entire plan.
Payment must be made prior to consumption and can be made with cash at the register or by setting up a pay-as-you-go account which is linked to your student card.

Enjoy a quick coffee or bite to eat before class, at the UCafé. Open Monday – Friday 8am- 4pm UniHallers can benefit from an alternative breakfast or lunch option for those who don’t have time to eat in the Dining Hall.
UCafe is open to the general public and is the only onsite cafe’ amongst the UWA colleges.
